Main Street to be Closed at Railroad Crossing in Old Town

From the City of Manassas:

Main Street will be closed at the railroad crossing in Old Town Manassas beginning Monday, Oct 4th, for construction required as part of the Quiet Zone project. It will reopen Oct 15th. More Info: Contact Nichalos Gardner at 703.257.8266

Neighborhood Cleanup This Weekend

This Saturday, October 2, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, Prince William County is sponsoring a neighborhood cleanup for the residents of Yorkshire.

Dumpsters will be available at Emmanuel Baptist Church, which is located at 8006 Centreville Road in Manassas, VA. The dumpsters will be available to collect trash and debris, and no liquids or commercial waste will be accepted. The county’s Department of Public Works’ Neighborhood Services Division will be providing the dumpsters and the county Litter Control Crew will be available to assist with any large items.

Old Town Manassas Features 28th Annual Fall Jubilee

It’s that time again for the beautiful log carvings of the popular Chainsaw Chix, 300 crafters and lots of entertainment at the 28th Annual Manassas Fall Jubilee to be held, Sat., Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Old Town Manassas, Va., presented by Clear, an Internet company based in Kirkland, Wash. With FREE admission and FREE parking, the event will feature hundreds of crafters, including exhibitors with handmade jewelry and products, woodcrafts, face painting, a pumpkin patch, live entertainment and rides.

Classy Kids Childrens Consignment Sale Coming Soon

However, locally owned and operated Classy Kids Children’s Consignment Sale is coming to town and is surely a way to save some extra money. The sale will be held at the Prince William County Fairgrounds October 13 through October 17.

What once started in the basement of a church in Old Town Mansassas has grown into a massive event that fills the Home Arts and the Commercial building at the Prince William County Fairgrounds. Auditions for "Charlotte's Web" in Manassas

Calling all actors ages 8-18! On Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11 auditions will be held for the November production of the Pied Piper Children's Theatre "Charlotte's Web." Auditions will be conducted at the Center for the Arts located at 9419 Battle Street in Manassas, VA.
