City Square Café in Old Town Manassas, Va. is featuring a homemade Valentine’s Day three-course dinner for $49 per person, not including tax and gratuity, on Fri., Feb. 10 and Sat. The three-course menu includes: portobello mushroom cap, filled with seasoned crab meat topped with Reggiano cheese or fried smoked Gouda cheese laced with balsamic reduction; homemade lobster raviolis with panna sauce finished with Parmesan-Reggiano cheese shavings or venison tenderloin with veal sauce served with roasted fingerling potatoes and seasonal vegetables; and Chef’s chocolate mousse or strawberry cream brulée.

City Square Café provides tapas and homemade American bistro favorites with an international flair, seven days a week.

Hours of operation include: Mon. through Thurs., 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (lunch and dinner,) Fri., 11 a.m.to 10 p.m. (lunch and dinner), Sat., 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and Sun., 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (breakfast and lunch).

Established in 1996, City Square Café in Old Town Manassas, Va. was founded and is owned by Robert and Susana Barolin, immigrants from Uruguay whose cuisine is based on their Italian roots. City Square Café features homemade American bistro favorites with an international flair, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, tapas and catering menus in a quaint, warm environment with home-like comfort and serving creative, sophisticated food. Their catering division provides services for business and personal events. Surrounded by the charm of historic Old Town Manassas, City Square Café patrons enjoy the view of the historic 1914 Manassas Train Depot, an active train stop for daily Amtrak and Virginia Railway Express commuter trains. The Barolins have been in the restaurant business for more than 30 years, previous owners of The Sandwich Factory in Manassas, which they eventually renovated and re-created to become City Square Café.  City Square Café received the Certificate of Excellence by the Mayor of Manassas, Va. and is a member of Historic Manassas Inc., The Prince William County Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce and the Old Town Business Association.
