Human trafficking survivor speaks out

MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA9) -- The disturbing case of child pornography and abuse in a Maryland school is resonating in Manassas, Va.

That's where a woman who was abused by a child pornographer when she was a little girl is speaking out.

"There was rape, assault and everything else," said Jen Spry who was horribly abused by a next door neighbor when she was an 8-year-old child.

"Two years of my life. I was tortured on a regular basis."

It happened after school in her abuser's studio apartment.

"When the window was cracked it meant come in. When it was shut, it meant go home," Spry said explaining that the man groomed, coerced and threatened her.

Her mother never knew. When her mother was home she thought her daughter was just playing in the backyard. When young Jen would come home with wet hair, she'd tell her mother she was playing with the hose.
